The 28-year-old midfielder moves to West Ham until the end of the season and will be looking to make his first Premier League appearance of the campaign.
“I’m excited,” Lingard told West Ham TV. “It’s another new chapter in my life. Nothing is guaranteed but I’ve come here to work hard and help the team and bring my experience.
“That’s the main aim. I just want to enjoy my football and get back playing again and get my feet back on the pitch.”
In the previous six seasons at Man Utd he has played 133 times in the Premier League, scoring 18 goals and providing 10 assists.
Lingard, who helped England reach the 2018 FIFA World Cup semi-finals, arrives after West Ham converted Said Benrahma’s loan from Brentford into a permanent deal.
